Bien Yapı’s TSRS-Compliant Sustainability Report Is Now Available!

Bien Yapı’s TSRS-compliant Sustainability Report covering the 2025 reporting period has been published.
As ESG PM, we are pleased to have prepared the 2025 Sustainability Report of Bien Yapı, one of Europe’s largest ceramic manufacturers, in compliance with the Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS).
TSRS compliance goes far beyond drafting a report. The process requires clear governance responsibilities, the identification of climate-related risks and opportunities, and an assessment of how these factors affect the company’s strategy and financial outlook.
Accordingly, we managed the engagement end to end through the lenses of governance, strategy, risk management, and risks and opportunities. In line with the applicable regulations, the reporting process was structured around the requirements of TSRS 1 and TSRS 2.
What did we do?
- Reviewed the sustainability strategy against TSRS requirements
- Assessed the governance and risk management structures against TSRS disclosure requirements
- Restructured the Sustainability Committee’s terms of reference and operating principles
- Identified climate-related risks and opportunities in a workshop involving the committee and senior management
- Reviewed the materiality and financial threshold values for risks and opportunities
- Assessed current-period and anticipated financial effects with the finance and accounting teams
- Delivered a technical workshop on the financial quantification of climate risks
- Designed the report’s content architecture
- Completed the report in compliance with TSRS 1 and TSRS 2 requirements
Throughout the engagement, data and assessments from different business units were brought together within a shared reporting structure. This ensured that climate-related matters were considered not only through their environmental impacts, but also in connection with governance, risk management, strategic decisions, and financial effects.
The engagement was delivered by consultants licensed as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Specialists (KSRU).
The published report presents Bien Yapı’s governance approach, climate-related risks and opportunities, strategy, risk management processes, targets, and performance metrics in a holistic format. It also includes an independent limited assurance report.
